Readers and Speakers Club-

The Readers and Speakers club has been started in the college to motivate, inculcate and encourage students to develop literary interest and the habit of reading. The scheme further encourages students to develop speaking skills so that they develop oratory skills, stage daring and confidence to speak in front of large group. The committee of Readers and Speakers club issues notice to the students to join the club and books are issued to enrolled students. Then a meeting is arranged at the end of each month where the students speak a few words on the books they have read. The scheme is been successful as number of students have enrolled for the scheme and thus serving the purpose of overall development of students.

Employability and Entrepreneurial Skill Development Courses-

The Home Science department of our college started this innovative course for students by organizing cake preparation workshop and cafeteria management etc. The objective of this innovative course was to make the students self reliant, motivate them towards self employment and encouraging them to be financially independent. The course was successful as the demand for such courses increased and also the students who participated in this course started taking orders of cakes for various functions, starting their own business and in turn fulfilling the objective of this course.

Jivahala Scholarship

The College has stared Jivhala Scholarship for the one-parent-Student especially the students who have no father. The college committee searches for the donor from the society. The committee invites applications from students who have no father. The applications are scrutinized by the Committee and students who are intelligent and regular are selected for the Scholarship.
This scholarship is initiated to motivate the students to pursue their education and support them emotionally and financially.

Garware Awards

Every year on 21st December the Institute organizes the prestigious Garware Award programme. On this occasion the students who have secured highest marks and have stood 1st and 2nd rank in 12th standard Arts, Commerce, B.A. and B.Com final year, M.A. and M.Com final year are felicitated with Hon. Abbasaheb Garware Awards Consisting of Cash as prize Money, Certificate and trophy Further the Prestigious Garware Award is also given to the college Alumni who has excelled in her career and has done remarkable work with trophy and cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
Prestigious Garware Award is given to motivate students to achieve high excellence in Academics and Co-Curricular activities.
